Antler rattling is a proven technique for getting bucks in close. But, carrying antlers into the field can be more difficult than it sounds, particularly when you're already carrying a fair amount of gear. Sure, there are plastic rattling options, but few of them sound authentic. Plus, the use of these gadgets has always required a generous amount of hand and arm movement that can be picked up by a wary whitetail.
Primos may have solved all these challenges with the debut of their New Rack-n-Roll, which provides a way for a hunter to mimic two mature bucks fighting with minimal movement.
Primos declares that their Rack-n_Roll "was designed and tested in an independent sound lab where a real recording of two 140-in class bucks was broken down and analyzed by tone and frequency." In addition, a hunter can operate the Rack-n-Roll with just one hand, when the device is secured using the included leg strap.
