Giant Honeoye Lake Northern Pike Caught On A Tip-Up

Possible Record

Posted By VanOtisco, 3 years ago

Today, Rich Wood hauled a giant Northern Pike trough the ice, while fishing the NYS Ice Pro-Am Tournament Series Team Event on Honeoye Lake. Efforts are in the works to determine if his catch is a Honeoye Lake Record.

His Northern Pike weighed 20.34 lbs and measured 40.25 inches. He was using a tip-up.

Rich caught it in only 4 feet of water on bait he was sure was too small to catch a big fish.
